TAG Training is the app your gym uses to plan classes, take bookings and follow your training.
This page says what it keeps about you, who can see it, how long it is kept, and what you can do
about it. It is written to be read, not signed.
The gym you train at is responsible for your data (the "controller" under the GDPR):
[the gym's legal name, its address, and an email address people can write to].
The app is run for the gym by TAG Training, who processes the data
only on the gym's instructions. Questions about your data go to the gym at the address above.
| What | Why | Who sees it |
| Your name, email address and a password (stored hashed, never readable) |
To sign you in and tell you apart from everyone else | You; the coaches at your gym see your name and email |
| Which gym you belong to, and your class bookings and waiting-list places |
To run the classes you signed up for | You; the coaches at your gym |
| Your profile: age, sex, weight, objective, sport, competition date |
So a coach can programme for you | You (parts of it); the coaches at your gym |
| Measurements you or a coach record: blood pressure, weight, muscle mass, body fat, lifts, grip, pull-ups |
To follow your progress | You; the coaches at your gym |
| Injuries and medical notes a coach writes |
So a session is safe for you. This is health data; it is recorded only with your agreement | The coaches at your gym. Not shown to you in the app today; ask the gym for a copy at any time |
| What you log after a class: how you felt, weights lifted, comments |
So next time you see last time | You; the coaches at your gym |
| Who opened your file, and when |
So you can see who has looked at your data | You |
| If you have the Athlete plan: the App Store's record of it (its transaction number, the product, when it renews or ends, whether it was refunded). Apple takes the payment; we never see your card or your Apple Account |
To know your account has the plan, on your phone and on the website | You; TAG Training |
| Sign-in attempts and password-reset requests |
To stop somebody guessing their way in | Nobody, in the ordinary course; kept for a short time and dropped |
Nothing is used for advertising, profiling or sold to anyone. There are no third-party trackers
in the app and no analytics that follow you.
The gym's data is stored on servers run for the gym by these providers (its "processors"), under
contracts that bind them to the GDPR:
The fonts the app uses are served from the app itself, not from Google.
If this notice changes, the version and date at the top change with it and the app tells you the
next time you sign in.
